Blog 9: Science Proposal

1. What is your hypothesis?

If a shirt is in the middle of a display stand then it would sell the most.

2. Identify the dependent (produced), independent (manipulated) and control variables in your hypothesis.

The dependent variable is the most sales. The independent variable is the order of the shirts. The control variables is logo staying the same.

3. What is the connection between your science fair project and your senior project EQ?

My science fair project connects to my senior project because my senior project is starting your own clothing line and when i go sell shirts at a show or somewere it would be good to know whitch one ussualy sells more.

4. How will you perform the experiment? Include the equipment you plan on using.

I plan on printing one logo on three different color shirts at club matinee and at Kore skate shop. I believe the one in the middle will get the most. So i am going to change the order of the shirts are hanging every time, using statistics i will prove there is a significant increase of sales in the middle shirt.

5. Which category will your project be listed under? (For a full list of categories, go to the iPoly Physics webpage, then to the Science Fair tab.)

This would go under behavioral science
